Thank you for purchasing my Groupon. I am looking forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to photograph you and your family. Together we will create a collection of portraits for your family to enjoy for years to come.
Being featured on Groupon is a wonderful way to welcome new clients and also a great way for you to have the “family portrait session experience” with little commitment and no risk. My Groupon includes a family* portrait session and one 11” x 14” custom** print.
At your session, I will spend approximately an hour with your family. I photograph exclusively outdoors, using only natural sunlight and nature as my studio. I can photograph you at a location*** of your choice, or I can suggest one. I am located in Newmarket, and within my area, I know of several spots for lovely portraits. Shooting outdoors offers the most relaxed atmosphere and helps to create a natural image (In the event of poor weather, your session will be rescheduled).
At your session, I will photograph your family in various compositions... individual portraits of each child, the children as a group and the family as a whole. My approach to photography is to be as casual as possible. I encourage you to relax, goof around and have fun. Be silly! A family portrait session should be fun!
Following your session you will be able to view your proofs**** online via my website. Your proofs will be displayed within a private, password protected gallery. Each session yields approximately 75 - 100 proofs. Your proof gallery will be online to view and order from for 7 days. From these proofs you will choose your portrait for your 11 x 14 Groupon print.
In addition to your Groupon print, I do offer both custom printed photographs in various sizes and high resolution digital files (jpegs)*****. I highly recommend purchasing your portraits in digital file. This gives you complete freedom to print and reprint your collection (great for gifting), e-mail to family, post online, make photo albums, create holiday cards, etc..

Important notes (please read entirely):
~ I am currently booking April, May and June. Please keep in mind that I shoot exclusively outdoors. I will respond to all booking requests within 48 hours.
~ When contacting me to book your session, please attach your Groupon to your email as an attachment. I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy in effect or your Groupon is forfeited. I do not book sessions on Sundays. Due to volume, all Saturday sessions are photographed in Newmarket.
~ Proof gallery extensions are available, for a fee of 25.00 for an extra 7 days.
* Family sessions are for families only. Not to be used for weddings, events (parties) or commercial purposes. Family sessions can be used for families, children, couples, engagement, boudoir, maternity or newborn. And yes, pets are family too!
** To avoid unflattering cropping, custom printed photographs may not be true to "commercial" (store bought frames) sizing. In example, an 11 x 14 "custom printed" photograph might be a 9 x 13.5 image on an 11 x 16 paper. I use my discretion based on the composition of the image. Custom prints require custom matting.
*** One location only. Travel subject to my availability. I travel 50 km. from Newmarket. Most Toronto Parks and areas of public attraction require a photography permit. It is the respondsibility of the client to provide the permit. Both High Park and the Beach are great places to shoot.
**** Proofs are watermarked and for viewing / ordering purposes only.
***** Digital files are NOT for commerical use unless copyright is released by myself, in writing.
Shipping and taxes are extra.
